Paranormal Investigations

When the building that currently houses Cooktown Museum was built, it operated as a convent run by the Sisters of Mercy until the beginning of the Coral Sea War in 1942.

Historical artifacts dating back as far as 1874 were found within the walls of the old convent. Many items are now on display at Cooktown Museum.

The convent building has many stories to tell so join us for an evening of paranormal experiences and ghostly tales with our new paranormal investigation.
