National Archaeology Week is hosting an exciting nationwide program of events. Meet archaeologists, First Nations people and heritage practitioners, join archaeological digs and tours, enjoy special talks - and more!
National Archaeology Week provides the opportunity for people to learn about Australian archaeology and cultural heritage from 65,000 years ago to the present, and to connect with archaeologists, First Nations people, heritage practitioners and educators through a variety of events happening across Australia. Held in the third week of May each year, this exciting nationwide program of events and activities will include public digs, talks, exhibitions, walking tours, workshops and displays.
