Masonic Building Bundaberg Self Guided Tour
Apr 26, 2025, 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Step inside one of Bundaberg’s architectural gems and uncover its fascinating history.
Originally constructed in 1917 by W.J. Heathwood, a dedicated member of the Bundaberg Chamber of Commerce, this building was a bustling business selling drapery, millinery, hardware, and groceries. Later, it came under the ownership of the prominent Buss family, and in 1927, C.W. Buss generously gifted the building to the Bundaberg Freemasons.
While its striking façade is a sight, the real treasures lie within.
Not normally open to the public, it's a chance to explore the building’s captivating interiors on a self-guided tour, with members of the Masonic Fraternity on hand to share insights and answer your questions.
Don’t miss this unique opportunity to experience Bundaberg’s history up close!
