Course through Coorparoo and Holland Park

May 16, 2021

Discover places of historical and architectural significance in Coorparoo and Holland Park with this new Local Heritage Places Trail presented by Brisbane City Council.

While younger than some of Brisbane’s earliest suburbs, this region continues to reflect a period of growth and development in Brisbane.

From the extension of the Buranda tramway in the late 1800s and eventual construction of a new tramline in the early 1900s, to post-war development creating a boom in housing and religious facilities, to magnificent, architecturally designed residences built by Brisbane’s elite – the region has no shortage of exceptional stories to tell.

Follow the online map (link below) on your device for a self-guided tour exploring the Local Heritage Places of this historically significant Brisbane region – all while getting your step count up!
