Join us Sunday 4 October for a special Open Day at Wolston Farmhouse, featuring guest speaker Arthur Frame AM. From playing a beloved children’s TV icon to shaping some of Australia’s biggest stages, Arthur has a lifetime of stories to share.”
Arthur enjoyed a fifty-year career in Australian arts and entertainment, spanning radio, television and theatre, including roles with the ABC, Channel Nine (as Humphrey B. Bear) and London’s Royal Court Theatre. He was appointed a Member of the Order of Australia in 2008. Arthur has an abiding interest in the preservation of Australia’s built, cultural and natural environment, and for more than a decade served at a local, state and federal level on various boards of the National Trust of Australia.
Bring a picnic and enjoy the grounds before and after the talk. Books will be available to purchase on the day, with a signing by Arthur himself.
