Heritage Hands Festival – Sandgate 2026
6 November 2026, 9:00 AM – 8:00 PM
Two days honouring the makers, menders and keepers of traditional craft.
6–7 November 2026 | Sandgate Town Hall
Heritage Hands Festival opens the workshop doors and puts traditional and specialist skills on show for the whole community. Over two days, you can meet skilled Artisan Makers and see their techniques up close, roll up your sleeves in hands-on workshops, browse the Heritage Makers Market, and join the conversation about which skills and knowledge we should be passing on to the next generation.
Spanning time-honoured trades and restoration through to contemporary creative work, the festival shines a light on the people who still build, mend, shape and share their craft by hand.
Crafted with care. Built for generations.
