2025 Trust Talks Launch & Exclusive Morning Tea

We are delighted to extend a very limited invitation to you to the launch of the Trust’s 2025 “Trust Talks Series”.

Contribute to the 2025 Australian Heritage Festival by joining us at Government House on Tuesday 6 May 2025 for a private Morning Tea hosted by our Patron, the Governor of Queensland, Her Excellency the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young AC PSM, and Professor Graeme Nimmo RFD.

We are proud to present two of the state's leading experts on heritage, followed by a personal tour of Government House.

This premier event will bring together leading voices in heritage, architecture, government, conservation, and culture, providing an exceptional opportunity for meaningful dialogue and networking amongst the industry.

  • Enjoy a refined morning tea in a distinguished setting, enhancing this exclusive gathering.
  • All proceeds from Trust Talks events support the National Trust of Australia (Queensland) in preserving and maintaining our heritage properties.
  • Invitations are strictly non-transferable.
  • The Governor should be initially addressed as "Your Excellency", and thereafter as "Your Excellency," "Ma’am," or "Governor." Her husband should be addressed as "Professor Nimmo."
  • Guests must arrive no later than 15 minutes before the event’s start time.
  • Limited parking is available within Government House grounds; on-street parking is also available.
  • If you require accessibility assistance or disabled parking, please notify Government House in advance.
  • Photography inside Government House is prohibited, and video recordings are strictly prohibited.
  • Mobile phones must be switched off or set to silent mode. Please note that Government House staff may capture event footage for promotional and educational purposes.
  • In case of an emergency, guests must follow the instructions of Government House staff.
